Learn to Piece with Nancy This is a beginning piecing class where you will receive simple and straight forward instructions. Nancy Cerna will teach you the basic skills of rotary cutting and machine piecing. You will be piecing a quilt top only from the book "Happy Hour" by Terry Atkinson (this book is a must for this class). Nancy will help you choose fabrics for your top on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Color Me Quilts & More. Four lessons, supply list available at time of registration. Beginning level.

Quilter's
Tote Bag Ta Da! It's here, a bag to
hold everything you need for a quilt class (well, except for your sewing
machine)! This 20 1/2" x 26"
bag is sized specifically to hold an 18" x 24" cutting mat and
24" ruler. There is also a pocket
designed to carry any other tools you may need.
Liz Baumann will make it easy and fun to make and will give you the
opportunity to practice your free motion quilting - or not - it's your
choice. When you're done, you'll want to

Just Can't
Cut It with Batiks Using the fast and
easy quilt pattern, students will create their own one-of-a-kind batik throw
quilt. This is a fun, fast and fantastic
quilt to complete in a day. Nancy Cerna
will prepare a batik fabric kit in your choice of color for this class (kit
must be preordered from Not Just Quiltz), add additional fabric for borders and
binding and voila, you'll have your own custom-designed throw. Nancy makes it fast, easy and fun! Once you complete this colorful quilt you'll
be wanting more. Supply list available

It's a Bling
Thing Learn to make a strip quilt
that is cut on a 60 degree angle. This
dramatic looking quilt top uses 1 jelly roll or forty 2-1/2" strips from
the book "Let the Good Times Roll" by Heather Mulder Peterson (this
book is a must for this class). Barbara
Reinert will walk you through the piecing and cutting of this 66" x
86" quilt top. Make it bold and
bright or soft and simple. Two lessons,
supply list available at time of registration.

Barn Raising Just in time for 4th of July, Barbara
Reinert will teach you how to make this crazy pieced star quilt. Stars are stacked, whack and put back
together to make an interesting collection of stars. This 75" x 93" quilt top is from
the book "The Buggy Barn" by Pam Soliday and Nona King (this book is
a must for this class). Make it out of
patriotic fabric or reproductions, looks good either way. Two lessons, supply list available at time of
registration. Beginner plus level.

ONGOING WORKSHOPS
Color Me Done his is your opportunity to work on your
unfinished projects in a social setting and have a teacher(s) (Nancy and Liz)
available to answer any quilting questions you may have. Bring some goodies to share and we'll have
some fun. Space is limited so call to
reserve your spot.

Party with
Patrick This is a new club which we
will be starting in March. Each month
you will receive a project designed by Patrick Lose. The monthly projects will be fairly simple
but useful and fun to make, such as a smaller wall quilts, door banners, door
toppers, table runners, placemats, etc.
Also included are two to three recipe cards designed in the months
theme, of course we will sample one of the recipes in the session. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up for
this fun club soon.

OUR INSTRUCTORS:
Nancy
Cerna: Textile Artist and
Owner of NotJustQuiltZ, Nancy
comes with a diverse background in business and design. Her love of fabrics and
color brought Nancy
back into the creative world again in 2003 with the opening of
NotJustQuiltZ. An award-winning hand
and machine quilter, certified judge and quilt instructor, she served as
Chairman of her Quilt Guild’s Quilt Shows in 2003 and 2004. Her designs have
been displayed at artisan collectives in Danville
and San Jose, California. Her products have also been
featured at Steve’s Hallmark in Fremont,
on public television KTEH and at various fund raising events around the San
Francisco Bay Area.
Liz Baumann: Liz has been quilting for fifteen years is
passionate about color and loves sharing per passion with others. Early in her quilting career, Liz worked and
taught at Quilter’s Paradise in Clovis,
CA. She has a husband and two sons in
college. A native of San Francisco, Liz and her family have lived
in the tri-city area for nine years.
