Beginning Freeform Fiber Art (Knit
and/or Crochet) Sunday, October 11

Time: 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Skill Level:
Beginning + (You need to know all the basics of either crochet and/or
knitting).
Supplies Needed: 4 or more, color coordinated yarns, which can include
a variegated yarn with solid color(s) to blend with it, a ribbon, a tape, a
novelty, or all solid colors in yarn weights 2 through 4. Chunky or bulky weight yarns are no suitable
for this project. Several sizes of
crochet hooks (F, G & H) and/or knitting needles or DPNs (US 5, 7, 9),
straight pins or quilting pins, a medium/large button, (optional) or magnetic closures, and
scissors. Instructor will provide the
working bag lining. You will also need
buttonhole thread and a needle. Cost: $35.00
Description: You will be making a small clutch bag, while learning the
basics of the fiber art known as freeform.
You will be making some scrumbles/fragments/pieces that I will show you
how to put together to create your bag.
A bag handle is optional, but can also be made knitted or crocheted.
